Our Journey

Throughout our 40 plus year history as a wholesale beauty supply center, we have adapted to the ever-changing trends in the professional beauty supply industry. From our roots as the Sebastian Int’l distributor for New England, Professional Salon Services adopted the image of a Fashion-Oriented Education distributor of high-end professional beauty supplies supported by advanced education for experienced beauty professionals.

As times changed, Professional Salon Services realized the importance of permanent hair color and semi-permanent hair color and the appropriate education needed to support our loyal customers in an ever-changing industry. We began by investing and importing European manufactured hair color and their influence towards fashion trends, technology, and well-being.

As we began to understand the importance that sustainability has on our everyday lives, it inspired us to cull our portfolio in exchange for lines that support fashion with education for hair cutting, hair coloring, hair smoothing, as well as skincare with companies that manufacture in the safest and greenest way possible.

We search out manufacturers that utilize safe non-toxic ingredients to achieve client and employee satisfaction, safety, and wellness without sacrificing superior results. We now align ourselves with brands that go beyond leading the beauty industry with products and education, but also those that lead in sustainable technologies and business practices.

As we have lived and embraced our image as an integral Fashion Oriented Education Haircare and then Hair Color company, we now additionally make decisions on the sustainability of our portfolio and the health and well-being of our employees, clients, and the world around us.
